How to Paint Existing Baseball/Softball Bases

We need to repaint our baseball bases with white paint for better look.

Tru Mark offers a product for this purpose, it is a specialized water based formulation for permanent application, BaseConditioner.

One gallon will cover approximately 250 square feet which is approximately 15 bases.  You should first sand the base and then clean the base with a steel brush, roughing it up, or use a strong cleaner such as our TrailBlazer Solar Wash which acts as an etching agent and a prepping solution.

For best results use two thin coats of conditioner vs. 1 thick coat. Let the bases sit for 48 hours for hardening before painting.

The base conditioner has proven to work well on Hollywood and Bolco brand bases but does not adhere to Champro bases.
